Life in the Move (Arturo Soria).
Точки на карте (спортзалы, продуктовые, пункты Amazon, ТЦ, кинотеатры, парки): данные OpenStreetMap, снимок от — (обновляется вручную скриптом build/build-poi.py). Ссылки на сайты берутся из тега website в OSM и есть примерно у трети залов. Слой «Спортзалы» (кнопка) — число фитнес-клубов в округе по OSM. Учтите: полнота OSM неидеальна — особенно по пунктам Amazon (Hub Locker: они стоят в супермаркетах Dia/Carrefour, на заправках Repsol; полный список — в приложении Amazon при выборе доставки). Счётчики залов/продуктовых в карточке района — тоже OSM, реальное число может быть чуть больше.
Границы районов: OpenStreetMap + датасет кварталов Мадрида (click-that-hood, 2013 г.), агрегированный в 21 округ. Подложка карты — OpenStreetMap.

The 0–10 safety score is my own summary judgement built on those rankings: the city does not publish a complete open dataset of “offences per 1,000 residents by district”, so exact numbers exist only for the districts covered in the press, and the rest is a qualitative estimate (low / moderate / elevated).

INE (National Statistics Institute), data from ~2024–2025. Figures are approximate (rounded), since the padrón is updated continuously.
Commute time: my own door-to-door estimate from the residential centre of each district on a weekday, based on
Metro de Madrid (line 9, Cruz del Rayo station) and CRTM routes; it includes walking at both ends and changes. In large districts the time varies a lot by block — check it for the specific address.
Amenities (supermarkets, pharmacies, markets): a qualitative density estimate from OSM/Google maps and neighbourhood guides —

Points on the map (gyms, grocery shops, Amazon lockers, malls, cinemas, parks): OpenStreetMap data, snapshot taken — (refreshed by hand with build/build-poi.py). Website links come from the OSM website tag and exist for roughly a third of the gyms. The “Gyms” layer button colours districts by the number of fitness clubs per OSM. Note that OSM coverage is imperfect — especially for Amazon lockers (Hub Lockers sit inside Dia/Carrefour supermarkets and Repsol petrol stations; the full list is in the Amazon app at checkout). The gym and shop counters on the district card come from OSM too, so the real numbers may be slightly higher.
District boundaries: OpenStreetMap plus a dataset of Madrid neighbourhoods (click-that-hood, 2013), aggregated into the 21 districts. Base map by OpenStreetMap.
